I’m not one for “wasting time”, at least not intentionally. I’d much rather be doing something than doing nothing. Maybe it’s how I was raised, maybe it’s just how I’m built.
But when my business coach told me last week that it sounded like I needed to take a break, I jumped on the opportunity to take a hike up a mountain.
What I found was not only was the hike incredibly impactful on a personal level, I figured a lot out, I had a lot of time to dig into some of the things currently holding me back, I was able to come back to work refreshed, energized, and even more excited, and I also had some really cool experiences, that I never would have had if I just stayed home staring at my phone on the couch.
