If you don't like hard truths, don't listen to this. This one touches deep.
If you think you can just let your emotions control you and others should be ok it, don't listen to this. If you think you are entitled to have a negative attitude and everyone else should just make up for your lack of energy and commitment, then definitely don't listen to this.
But if you believe that it's your responsibility to show up every single day, if you believe that we owe it to everyone around us to treat them with dignity and respect, if you believe that the more we can control our own emotions, the better off we will be, then this might be for you.
I don't usually let myself get so unhinged in public places, but this is important, and it's something that even I need to work on constantly.
But if there's one thing I know, it's this: I want to be the type of person that shows up every single day. Sure I'll have bad days, I'll take days off.
Managing our energy levels is vital, and I never want to be the person that holds everyone else back. I am committed to showing up.
